TGIF!

Thank goodness it's Friday! I'm sooooo ready to shed the mantly of the work-a-day world and spend the weekend immersed in fun and crafty projects! I've just finished up a commissioned order and gotten it safely delivered to its new home:

I also tried my hand at a fun little zippered tote to use as a carrying case for my camera. I leave it in my purse most of the time, so I thought that a little protected case might be fun and functional:

This little guy was so amazingly fast and easy to make that I'm going to whip up a few more this weekend for my etsy shop. A little felt, a cute lining, a zipper, and some embellishment and these little guys are ready to go. I have a stack of felted wool just waiting to be projected on! Plus, it gives me a chance to practice my embroidery and who doesn't love to do that? LOL! Have a great Friday the 13th everyone! I'll check back in this weekend!

Well, it was a busy weekend around here. I finished up one journal and put it in my etsy shop:

I also played around a little bit with spray inks and stencils (and acrylics, and oil pastels, etc.) and came up with a few cool art tags:







I've finally entered blogland!

Welcome! After spending so many years enjoying other people's blogs, I've decide to finally jump right in myself. I am a self-admitted craftaholic. I have yet to find a medium that I haven't loved. You will find me doing anything from mixed media to art journaling to sewing and embroidery to jewelry making. I love to refinish old furniture and repurpose anything that I find.
